Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to build and maintain technology solutions that support our mission. This remote role focuses on developing full-stack applications and contributing to the strategic evolution of our platform.

What You'll Do

Design, develop, deploy, and maintain features across the full application stack.
Investigate, reproduce, and resolve bug tickets efficiently.
Collaborate with team members to forecast delivery timelines for features and fixes.
Participate in daily check-ins and code reviews to foster knowledge sharing and platform consistency.
Work within cross-functional teams, including Marketing and Operations, to implement innovative solutions.
Contribute to strategic discussions, offering expertise and embracing change to enhance team and product performance.

What We're Looking For

Strong experience with React.js, Angular.js, or other modern frontend JavaScript frameworks.
Proficiency in TypeScript or other strongly typed languages.
Experience with Node.js and deploying web applications.
Demonstrated ability to design and build applications from scratch and innovate on legacy systems.
Passion for delivering high-quality code, meeting deadlines, and working collaboratively in a results-driven environment.

Nice to Have

Experience with one or more of the following: Next.js, Queue systems (BullMQ/Redis), Contentful CMS, Websockets, Payment systems, Real Estate technology solutions, Server-Side Components in React, web optimization for speed and SEO, Sentry, Test Driven Development (Jest/React Testing Library).
