Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to build and maintain technology solutions that support our mission. This remote role focuses on developing full-stack applications and contributing to the strategic evolution of our platform.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain features across the full application stack.
- Investigate, reproduce, and resolve bug tickets efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to forecast delivery timelines for features and fixes.
- Participate in daily check-ins and code reviews to foster knowledge sharing and platform consistency.
- Work within cross-functional teams, including Marketing and Operations, to implement innovative solutions.
- Contribute to strategic discussions, offering expertise and embracing change to enhance team and product performance.
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience with React.js, Angular.js, or other modern frontend JavaScript frameworks.
- Proficiency in TypeScript or other strongly typed languages.
- Experience with Node.js and deploying web applications.
- Demonstrated ability to design and build applications from scratch and innovate on legacy systems.
- Passion for delivering high-quality code, meeting deadlines, and working collaboratively in a results-driven environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with one or more of the following: Next.js, Queue systems (BullMQ/Redis), Contentful CMS, Websockets, Payment systems, Real Estate technology solutions, Server-Side Components in React, web optimization for speed and SEO, Sentry, Test Driven Development (Jest/React Testing Library).
