Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications throughout their lifecycle.
- Monitor, log, and analyze application performance; implement alerting systems to detect production issues early.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and resolve identified security issues.
- Collaborate with development teams to recommend proactive improvements for application quality.
- Develop and execute disaster recovery and data backup strategies to ensure business continuity.
- Support CI/CD pipeline implementation for efficient and reliable software deployments.
- Conduct regular access reviews and monitor user activity in production environments.
- Lead initiatives for cloud migration and modernization of applications.
- Advise on best practices for cloud security, reliability, and scalability.
- Utilize AI tools to automate and optimize processes across the software development lifecycle with data-driven insights.
- Implement AIOps solutions to analyze logs and metrics, improving system observability and incident response.
- Contribute to the creation of prototypes and large-scale proof of concepts.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of application features and security controls.
- Identify and implement performance tuning and optimization for Java-based applications.
- Engage in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) activities.
- Coordinate with stakeholders and interconnected systems to establish alerts for failures in dependent applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher education level.
- Minimum of 8 years of professional IT experience.
- Proficiency with REST and SOAP APIs using Java/JEE and Spring Boot Framework.
- Experience with MySQL, MongoDB, and relational database systems.
- Familiarity with open-source frameworks, particularly Spring Boot, and tools like SoapUI and Postman.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD automation tools such as Jenkins Pipeline and GitHub Actions.
- Knowledge of DevOps and cloud technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and Azure.
- Understanding of network infrastructure including firewall rules, F5 load balancers, and API gateways.
- Experience working with messaging platforms like IBM MQ and Kafka.
- Solid understanding of security mechanisms including OAuth tokens and SSL certificates.

Compensation
The salary for this role ranges from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. Includes equity stock purchase, incentive and recognition programs, and 401k contribution.
Work Arrangement
Hybrid work model based in Minneapolis or Washington, D.C., requiring a minimum of four office days per week for local hires. Remote work is permitted anywhere within the U.S., subject to company telecommuting policy.
