Kalibrate is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join an elite team building solutions for critical business priorities. You will provide technical expertise to optimize testing, prevent issues, and ensure high-quality products through advanced test automation, performance testing, and mentorship.
What You'll Do
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Review tickets and technical documents to engage in each phase of the software development lifecycle
- Create, run, and repair manual and automated tests using frameworks like Playwright
- Plan and build automated testing frameworks integrated with development workflows
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, coordinate, and perform quality testing activities
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional scrum teams and across the larger company
- Demonstrate best practices in test coverage and maintainability
- Mentor junior QA team members and advocate for quality standards
- Design and maintain test data strategies, including creating hundreds of thousands of Salesforce records for performance testing
- Design and execute performance testing strategies to identify system bottlenecks and optimization opportunities
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Cumulus CI, MetaDeploy) to provide fast feedback and act as deployment gates
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of software testing experience with demonstrated expertise in test automation
- 3+ years of testing on the Salesforce platform with a deep understanding of its limitations
- Experience with test automation frameworks, particularly Playwright
- Proficiency in programming languages for test automation
- Experience with CI/CD tools and processes (GitHub Actions, Cumulus CI, MetaDeploy preferred)
- Performance testing experience with relevant tools
- Experience testing mobile applications using emulators, simulators, or cloud device farms with automation frameworks
- Experience managing test data lifecycles and keeping test environments synchronized with code deployments through version control systems
- Excellent English communication skills with proven ability to collaborate across departments, time zones, and remote teams
- Self-directed and adaptable: stays current with testing methodologies, maintains composure under pressure, and thrives in fast-paced remote environments

- Salesforce admin or Blackthorn product experience
