About the Role

OpsLevel is hiring a Senior Product Manager to join our mission of improving the developer experience. You will immerse yourself in the world of Platform Engineering, learn from our customers, and turn their needs into clear, actionable product direction.

What You'll Do

  • Learn about Platform Engineering and Developer Experience to build excellent product.
  • Routinely interact with customers to identify needs through interviews, data analysis, research, and sales/CS calls.
  • Translate customer needs into business cases, features, product requirements, and roadmaps.
  • Manage multiple parallel projects and iterations alongside design and engineering.
  • Ensure the delivery of feature releases that drive the core business.
  • Make tradeoffs between scope and user experience when working with engineering and design teams.
  • Work with marketing, sales, and customer success teams to launch new features to customers.

What We're Looking For

  • A genuine care for developer experience and making developers happy and productive.
  • Some background in or around platform engineering or software development.
  • Strong opinions on the term 'Platform as a Product'.
  • Clear communication and strong written communication skills.
  • The ability to learn quickly, natural curiosity, a drive to learn, and being unafraid to ask for help.
  • A master of prioritization who gets things done.

Nice to Have

  • Past experience shipping code as a platform engineer or software developer.
  • Experience at a startup or SaaS company.
  • Comfort with SQL or data analysis tools.
  • Experience with the end-to-end product lifecycle, from feature launch to end-of-life.

Work Mode

This role is remote and open to candidates located in North America.
