About the Role
This role involves building and optimizing a high-volume data platform that supports real-time decisioning and analytics. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve system architecture, automate workflows, and ensure platform resilience.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement distributed systems for processing large-scale data streams
- Develop and maintain APIs that enable seamless integration across platform components
- Improve system reliability through proactive monitoring and incident response
- Collaborate with data scientists and product teams to operationalize machine learning models
- Optimize database performance for high-throughput transactional workloads
- Lead efforts in refactoring legacy components to modern cloud-native architectures
- Establish best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment pipelines
- Troubleshoot complex production issues across multiple environments
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance platform capabilities
- Ensure compliance with security and data privacy standards
- Participate in architecture reviews and technical planning sessions
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing
- Drive automation of operational tasks to reduce manual overhead
- Support deployment and scaling of microservices in containerized environments
- Contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity planning
