Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is hiring a Sr. IT Auditor to lead complex technology audits and risk assessments that strengthen organizational accountability and integrity. In this remote role, you will evaluate and improve IT systems and controls, advise leadership on process improvements, and collaborate across multiple teams and countries.
What You'll Do
- Plan, lead, and participate in technology audits and risk assessments, communicating findings to management and executive leadership.
- Assess IT systems, cloud infrastructure, and network security controls, identifying exposures and areas for improvement.
- Develop, execute, and review audit tests, applying information system control concepts across a variety of technology settings.
- Coordinate assurance and advisory engagements with cross-functional teams and other audit or risk groups.
- Provide consulting on IT standards, policies, and procedures to improve operational efficiency and control frameworks.
- Occasionally coach or oversee other IT audit specialists and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- May travel to project sites to evaluate operational and IT processes, ensuring assessments support training and development.
What We're Looking For
- Certification from a nationally or internationally recognized organization (e.g., ISACA CISA, IIA CIA, ISC2 CISSP).
- Strong experience in internal IT auditing, including process maturity assessments and project execution.
- Proven ability to lead and contribute to initiatives such as organizational process improvement, data analysis, and audit/GRC implementations.
- Deep understanding of IT systems, cloud infrastructure, and network security practices.
- Knowledge of authentication, encryption, compliance standards, and forensic auditing techniques.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to multitask, organize, and manage complex audit assignments independently or collaboratively.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with CRM and financial accounting tools.
- Agile software engineering experience is a plus.
