At Workday, we are looking for a Senior HCM Functional Consultant with deep expertise in Absence and Time Tracking to join our Workday Success Plans team. You will help customers maximize the value of their Workday products post go-live by delivering targeted programs and services, from feature assessments to full deployments, to support their evolving business needs.
What You'll Do
- Confidently and consistently provide excellent customer service.
- Engage customers to quickly understand their business requirements.
- Share broad experience with industry practices.
- Adapt and succeed independently in challenging situations.
- Develop and demonstrate system configuration solutions, articulating product capabilities, plus the benefits and risks of design decisions.
- Support multiple customers concurrently on short-duration projects.
- Help customers be more self-sufficient, stabilize and optimize their Workday applications, and learn about new features.
- Share expertise on a variety of Ask-an-Expert requests by conducting research, delivering small-scope consulting, troubleshooting product configuration, and communicating clearly.
- Partner with an Engagement Manager to deliver services like Feature Adoption Workshops, Functional Reviews, and Health Checks.
- Deliver additional services including Collaboration Crews, Accelerator Webinars, Feature Accelerator, and Feature Adoption Tenant Reviews.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience with Workday configurations.
- 5+ years of IT implementation experience.
- 2+ years of software consulting experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or related experience required.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
Nice to Have
- Workday Certification in HCM and at least one of the following: Absence, Time Tracking.
- Additional experience with PeopleSoft, SAP, and/or Oracle.
- Experience with influencing, interacting and collaborating with senior leaders internally and externally.
- Capable of leading and influencing design meetings toward an effective and collaborative outcome.
- Ability to deliver and get results within the parameters of a project plan.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with global implementations.
- Ability to work on multiple engagements simultaneously.
