About the Role
The ideal candidate will lead the implementation and management of AWS-based solutions, working closely with development and operations teams to streamline deployment processes, improve system performance, and support continuous integration and delivery.
Responsibilities
- Design and manage scalable AWS cloud environments
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code tools
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
- Ensure cloud security and compliance with best practices
- Collaborate with development teams on deployment strategies
- Optimize cloud resource usage and cost efficiency
- Support incident response and on-call operations
- Maintain documentation for systems and processes
- Integrate monitoring and alerting tools
- Manage identity and access controls in AWS
- Deploy and configure containerized applications
- Perform regular system audits and vulnerability assessments
- Lead root cause analysis for production incidents
- Enforce version control and change management protocols
- Work with configuration management tools
- Support disaster recovery and backup operations
- Evaluate and integrate new DevOps technologies
- Promote a culture of automation and operational excellence
- Participate in architecture design reviews
Nice to Have
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Solutions Architect certification
- Experience with multi-region AWS deployments
- Background in financial or regulated industries
- Knowledge of serverless architectures on AWS
- Familiarity with service mesh technologies
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring at scale
