Zantech is hiring a Senior Database Administrator to join a team supporting vital national defense initiatives. This hands-on role requires a candidate with an active US Department of Defense Secret security clearance to work on sensitive and impactful projects.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and maintain secure, high-performance database systems
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize database performance and reliability
- Develop and implement backup, recovery, and data integrity procedures
- Collaborate with technical teams to support application development and deployment
- Ensure database systems comply with all security regulations and policies
What We're Looking For
- An active US Department of Defense Secret security clearance is mandatory
- Proven experience as a Senior Database Administrator
- Deep expertise with major database platforms (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
- Strong knowledge of database security, backup/recovery, and performance tuning
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, mission-critical environment
