We are seeking an accomplished Senior Data Architect to enhance our team. In this pivotal role, you will architect, implement, and manage sophisticated data infrastructure on cloud platforms for our clientele. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing comprehensive data strategies, ensuring seamless data integration, storage, and accessibility while maintaining rigorous security and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities: - Engage with cross-functional teams to comprehend business requirements and translate them into robust cloud-based data architecture solutions. - Construct advanced data models, data flow diagrams, and schema structures that optimize data storage, retrieval, and processing across cloud platforms. - Develop comprehensive data integration strategies to consolidate information from diverse sources into a unified and coherent format. - Assess and select optimal cloud services and tools for various data-related initiatives. - Collaborate closely with data engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and provide strategic architectural guidance. - Oversee successful execution of data projects, ensuring outcomes align with business objectives and technical specifications. - Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering knowledge sharing and continuous professional development. Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline. - Demonstrated experience (10+ years) as a Data Architect, with specialized focus on cloud-based solutions. - Extensive expertise in Microsoft Azure, including: - Data Platforms (Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Database and Azure Synapse Analytics) - Spark Programming (Python, PySpark and SparkSQL) - Orchestration and Automation (Azure Data Factory and Logic Apps) - Storage (Azure Data Storage Gen2) - Event Processing (Kafka and Azure Event Hubs) - Comprehensive understanding of data security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). - Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and ability to analyze complex technical challenges. - Superior communication skills for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Relevant Microsoft Azure data certifications are advantageous.
