Societe Generale is hiring a Specialist Software Engineer - Java Full Stack in Chennai. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering development, testing, implementation, deployment, and support strategies within complex distributed environments. You will also mentor junior team members and act as a key technical point of contact.
What You'll Do
- Deliver sound development, testing, implementation, deployment, and support strategies for complex distributed systems.
- Mentor junior team members and relentlessly share knowledge.
- Work towards process standardization and continuous improvement.
- Act as a single point of contact for technical issues, leading by example.
What We're Looking For
- Strong exposure in Java, J2EE, and PostgreSQL.
- Proficiency in Azure, Kubernetes, and designing REST APIs.
- Good experience working in an Agile Scrum model, handling CI/CD pipelines, and practicing TDD.
- Exposure to tools like Kibana, Maven, Jenkins, and SONAR.
