PolicyMe is hiring a Spacecraft Electrical Engineer for its Umbra Space division. This role demands technical excellence and ownership across all aspects of spacecraft design, development, and testing, supporting our mission to redefine space for people, systems, and missions.
What You'll Do
- Support the full lifecycle of flight electronics, including design, analysis, manufacture, and test.
- Lead individual subsystem design and project efforts, coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Perform electrical design tasks, including schematic creation, parts selection, and layout for spacecraft electronics subsystems.
- Conduct analysis to demonstrate performance, survivability, and optimization of electrical designs.
- Maintain sourcing strategy for new and existing electronic components.
- Contribute to configuration control, drawing release, and component library maintenance.
Team & Environment
You will be a member of the Electrical Engineering team within our Space Systems business unit.
Work Mode
This is an onsite position located in Santa Barbara, CA.
