Allstate is hiring a Sourcing and Procurement Information Technology Category Lead Consultant to deliver procurement value through disciplined strategic sourcing. You will utilize a structured methodology to manage the IT spend category, influence stakeholders, and enforce policy and procedures.

What You'll Do

• Proactively assess sourcing and category opportunities by gathering spend information, analyzing purchasing patterns, and evaluating supplier economics and market conditions.
• Lead negotiations for medium to high complexity projects with knowledge of key contractual clauses and pricing models.
• Collaborate with internal clients and stakeholders to understand business needs and establish requirements.
• Develop and execute an overarching category strategy and plan.
• Establish sourcing strategies, evaluate alternatives, and create project plans to deliver effective sourcing solutions.
• Drive execution of sourcing strategies for key projects, utilizing appropriate tools and influencing cross-functional teams.
• Enforce policy, procedures, and enable compliance reporting to govern the IT spend category.
• Manage indirect relationships and influence multiple stakeholders at various levels.
• Independently draft communications, presentation materials, and conduct demand management assessments.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years experience leading IT sourcing and procurement efforts.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or a related field.
• Knowledge of procurement techniques, tools, practices, and principles.
• Strong negotiation skills and project management capabilities.
• Analytical capabilities and the ability to prioritize projects.
• Experience with conducting issue analysis, solution development, and conflict resolution.
• Customer focus and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience influencing actions and decisions of customers and suppliers at all levels.
• Proficiency in IT categories including Software (on-premise, SaaS, and enterprise public cloud), Hardware (client computing and infrastructure), Network & Telecom, and IT Services.

Team & Environment

This role has no direct team management responsibilities.

Benefits & Compensation

• Annual compensation range: $78,600.00 - $142,275.00.
