Drive the deployment of AI voice systems that transform how small businesses operate. In this role, you'll bridge technical design and real-world implementation, ensuring integration architectures are reliable, scalable, and aligned with customer revenue goals. You'll work directly with the CTO and engineering team to translate requirements into production-ready solutions using modern backend technologies.
What You'll Do
- Lead integration projects from concept to deployment, managing technical execution and timelines
- Work with stakeholders to define requirements, estimate effort, and deliver on schedule
- Build and maintain integration systems using Python, FastAPI, REST, gRPC, Kafka, and Redis
- Ensure code quality through peer reviews and consistent engineering standards
- Monitor live integrations using observability tools and resolve performance issues
- Identify roadblocks early and take initiative to keep projects moving forward
What We're Looking For
- At least 4 years of backend development experience with Python and scalable APIs
- Hands-on expertise with event-driven systems, message queues, and asynchronous processing
- Proven ability to design integrations with third-party platforms and services
- Experience with Agile workflows and tools like YouTrack and Grafana
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage scope across teams
- Fluency in English (B2 or higher); Russian language proficiency at B2 level or above
Compensation and Work Environment
Monthly salary ranges from $5,500 to $7,500 USD, depending on experience. This is a fully remote position with working hours aligned to 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM UTC. You'll operate in a lean, fast-moving startup culture that values ownership, practical solutions, and measurable impact.
