What You'll Do
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand strategic needs and challenges.
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into innovative, future-proof technical solutions.
- Generate and promote new concepts, principles, and methods within the solution architecture discipline.
- Design and architect highly scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions, considering emerging technologies and best practices.
- Select and integrate cutting-edge technologies (hardware, software, cloud) to build robust and efficient solutions.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for knowledge transfer.
- Lead presentations and discussions, defending proposed solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless implementation of designed solutions.
- Identify opportunities for optimization within existing systems and propose innovative improvements.
- Stay at the forefront of emerging technologies and integrate them into your solution strategy.
- Mentor junior Solution Architects and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in solution architecture or a related technical role (e.g., software development, DevOps, systems engineering).
- 3-5 years of experience in solution design and implementation, with expertise in a specific domain (e.g., cloud computing, security).
- Proven track record of successfully leading and executing complex technical projects.
- Mastery of a broad range of technical skills including cloud computing, enterprise architecture, and IT security.
- Strong ability to generate innovative solutions and develop new approaches.
- Strong communicator who can bridge the gap between technical and non-technical audiences.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with strategic and long-term thinking.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Ability to create and maintain comprehensive documentation of architecture designs.
- Experience with automation and orchestration tools.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and guide technical teams.
- Ability to stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Experience in managing stakeholder expectations and delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
Nice to Have
- Master's degree a plus.
- Certification in solution architecture (e.g., AWS/Azure Solutions Architect or Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect).
- Experience with enterprise integration patterns and best practices.
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
