Saabgroup is hiring a Solution Team Lead to guide a cross-functional team in shaping, delivering, and iterating mission-critical digital solutions for defence and national security. You will blend business acumen with technical depth to translate strategic mission goals into effective roadmaps and deliver measurable business value.
What You'll Do
- Lead a cross-functional team to shape, deliver, and iterate digital solutions that increase readiness, resilience, and mission effectiveness.
- Partner with senior business management, programme teams, and technical leaders to translate mission goals into roadmaps, prioritize backlogs, and define success metrics.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove impediments, and coach the team to continuously improve flow and delivery.
- Provide day-to-day leadership that fosters clarity, communication, and mentorship.
- Ensure solution integrity across discovery, design, delivery, and operation, balancing feasibility, scalability, security, and mission impact.
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders, influence decisions with data and insight, and present with executive-level gravitas.
- Champion high standards for quality, reliability, cyber security, and compliance appropriate for defence and national security contexts.
What We're Looking For
- Background in Industrial Engineering, Data Science, or Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of three years in leadership roles, including project management, with a proven track record of delivering high-performing initiatives.
- Strong technical background for engaging in credible dialogue with engineers and architects.
- Agile mindset and practices, comfortable driving incremental value delivery with clear outcomes.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence in operating with senior leadership.
- Proactive, business-oriented individual with a focus on generating business value.
Nice to Have
- Experience in defence, aerospace, regulated or safety-critical environments.
- Exposure to modern data platforms, cloud, integration patterns, and secure-by-design principles.
