Hunt St is seeking a Solar Designer to fill a dual-function role that bridges technical design and administrative coordination. You will be responsible for creating high-performing solar layouts and managing the critical ‘behind-the-scenes’ tasks that move a project from quote to installation.
What You'll Do
- Generate professional solar layouts and designs using Pylon.
- Prepare accurate, comprehensive quotes for the sales team.
- Follow up on pending approvals to keep project timelines on track.
- Act as the primary administrative bridge between the office and the install teams.
- Draft and send installation briefing emails with all necessary site details.
- Coordinate schedule confirmations with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain and update the CRM with lead and project statuses.
- Manage routine email correspondence with transparency and professionalism.
- Work independently to solve routine bottlenecks in the pre-installation phase.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Solar Designer or in a related role.
- Hands-on experience with Pylon and ServiceM8.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and Google Workspace/Microsoft 365.
- Solid understanding of solar standards and regulations.
- A ‘self-starter’ mindset, comfortable working independently on routine tasks.
- Exceptional written English skills for professional email coordination.
- High attention to detail.

Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $1,200 AUD - $1,500 AUD per month.
