Hunt St is seeking a Solar Designer to fill a dual-function role that bridges technical design and administrative coordination. You will be responsible for creating high-performing solar layouts and managing the critical ‘behind-the-scenes’ tasks that move a project from quote to installation.

What You'll Do

Generate professional solar layouts and designs using Pylon.
Prepare accurate, comprehensive quotes for the sales team.
Follow up on pending approvals to keep project timelines on track.
Act as the primary administrative bridge between the office and the install teams.
Draft and send installation briefing emails with all necessary site details.
Coordinate schedule confirmations with customers and internal stakeholders.
Maintain and update the CRM with lead and project statuses.
Manage routine email correspondence with transparency and professionalism.
Work independently to solve routine bottlenecks in the pre-installation phase.

What We're Looking For

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Solar Designer or in a related role.
Hands-on experience with Pylon and ServiceM8.
Familiarity with CRM tools and Google Workspace/Microsoft 365.
Solid understanding of solar standards and regulations.
A ‘self-starter’ mindset, comfortable working independently on routine tasks.
Exceptional written English skills for professional email coordination.
High attention to detail.
