About the Role

This role focuses on ensuring software quality through rigorous testing and validation processes. The engineer will collaborate with development teams to identify issues, improve product reliability, and support the delivery of secure, scalable identity solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans for software applications
• Identify, document, and track software defects
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues
• Perform manual and automated testing across multiple platforms
• Validate API functionality and integration points
• Ensure software meets defined quality standards
• Participate in agile development cycles
• Conduct regression testing to confirm bug fixes
• Review requirements and technical specifications
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts
• Test cloud-based identity management systems
• Verify security features and access controls
• Work closely with product teams to understand use cases
• Assist in improving testing frameworks and tools
• Report on test progress and product quality metrics

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
• Experience with software testing methodologies
• Familiarity with test case management tools
• Basic understanding of programming or scripting languages
• Knowledge of web technologies and HTTP protocols
• Experience testing RESTful APIs
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot technical issues
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
• Understanding of agile software development
• Proficiency with operating systems such as Linux and Windows

Nice to Have

• Experience with automation frameworks like Selenium or TestNG
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins
• Knowledge of security testing principles
• Exposure to identity and access management concepts
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker
• Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Background in Java, Python, or similar languages
• Previous work in a DevOps environment
