Responsibilities
- Design, test, debug, and maintain new and existing software applications according to business needs and technical standards
- Develop secure, scalable, and maintainable web-based systems using Python and cloud infrastructure on AWS
- Help create and carry out test strategies to ensure high code quality across individual and team contributions
- Write and keep up-to-date technical documentation covering design and implementation details
- Work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional groups to deliver high-quality features on schedule
- Engage in peer code reviews to adopt best practices and improve overall code integrity
- Learn and apply PCI compliance standards and other regulatory requirements in development workflows
- Assist in analyzing and documenting detailed software specifications
