Aetos Systems, Inc. is hiring a Software Programmer to support application design, development, and sustainment for a Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) customer. This is a primarily remote position, but candidates must be located within commuting distance of New Cumberland, PA, for on-site support when requested.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement secure application solutions, including user interfaces and backend logic
- Adhere to secure coding best practices and Risk Management Framework (RMF) compliance
- Develop and maintain code using HTML, XML, JSON, CSS, JavaScript, C#, T-SQL, and RDL
- Use development tools such as Microsoft Visual Studio (2019–2022), SQL Server Management Studio, and Azure DevOps
- Create and maintain database structures, reports, and system scripts
- Collaborate with technical support teams and resolve information assurance (IA) vulnerabilities
What We're Looking For
- Must hold an active IT-II clearance or current NACLC at time of submission
- Bachelor's degree, Associate's degree, or minimum of 2 years equivalent experience
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft development tools and secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices
Nice to Have
- Experience with DoD or DLA software projects
- Familiar with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and secure coding standards
- Proficient in C#, T-SQL, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, XML, JSON, and RDL
- Skilled in UI design and database development
- Hands-on with Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio, and Azure DevOps
- Comfortable writing scripts, batch jobs, and system-level code
- Strong collaboration, documentation, and troubleshooting skills
