Sherpa 6 is seeking a Software Engineer Intern for a paid summer internship. You will contribute to full-stack development projects, participate in our Agile ceremonies, and present your work to leadership. Exceptional interns may be invited to continue part-time and receive a full-time offer upon graduation.
What You'll Do
- Research and document system architecture.
- Develop code and submit pull requests for review.
- Test and validate the solutions you build.
- Attend daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and sprint reviews.
- Review UX/UI designs and provide feedback.
- Participate in team architecture discussions.
What We're Looking For
- You are starting your Junior or Senior year of college after the summer break.
- You are enrolled in a 4-year Computer Science program or equivalent.
- You are familiar with REST API design and development in at least one programming language.
- You are familiar with front-end SPA web development in any framework.
- You have a strong understanding of Object-Oriented Principles.
- You have experience using Git for version control.
- You demonstrate strong attention to detail.
Nice to Have
- Experience developing with Angular.
- Experience developing with Golang.
- Experience using Docker containers.
- Experience using Jira and BitBucket.
