As a Software Engineer, you will play a key role in advancing cybersecurity solutions through hands-on technical exploration and development. Working within a team of seasoned professionals, you'll focus on building prototypes, executing proof-of-concepts, and delivering robust software for next-generation security platforms.
What You'll Do
- Lead and contribute to technical innovation projects, from concept to working prototype, often in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software that powers cutting-edge security tools and products
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to embed emerging technologies into current systems
- Participate in brainstorming and innovation sessions to solve complex cybersecurity challenges
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in software design and development
- Stay current with evolving technologies and security trends through continuous learning
Requirements
- Citizenship in one of the 32 NATO member states
- Minimum of three years of professional experience in software or innovation engineering
- Master’s degree in computer science or a closely related technical discipline
- Proficiency in Python, with familiarity in other programming languages
- Solid grasp of software architecture and infrastructure design fundamentals
- Proven ability to integrate new technologies into existing environments
- Strong debugging, testing, and troubleshooting capabilities
- Understanding of secure coding principles and industry best practices
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented, cross-company setting
