As a Software Engineer on the Trading Core team, you will design and maintain mission-critical systems that power a next-generation trading platform. Your focus will be on delivering real-time data from multiple cryptocurrency exchanges with minimal delay, enabling fast and accurate trading decisions.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and optimize high-throughput, low-latency services to retrieve and process market data from diverse trading venues
- Implement reliable order routing mechanisms for creating, modifying, and canceling trades across multiple exchanges
- Transform and standardize heterogeneous data feeds into a unified internal format for downstream systems
- Ensure model outputs are delivered to matching engines with maximum efficiency and minimal latency
- Monitor system behavior in production and participate in on-call rotations to maintain stability and correctness
What We’re Looking For
- At least five years of experience in building and tuning high-performance, distributed systems
- Strong grasp of algorithms, data analysis, and low-level optimization techniques
- Proven ability to operate independently—owning projects from design to deployment
- Experience with distributed environments, scalability challenges, and performance engineering
- Direct communication style: comfortable voicing concerns, debating decisions, and committing fully once direction is set
Technology
The core system is built in Rust, chosen for its performance and safety guarantees in concurrent, low-latency environments.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary typically between 80,000 € and 150,000 € per year, with potential for higher compensation based on expertise
- Performance bonuses awarded every six months, with top performers earning bonuses exceeding 50% of base pay
- Equity included in the package, with regular revaluation and consistent upward adjustments
- Opportunity to invest in a flagship multi-strategy fund, which has achieved up to 50% annualized net returns since inception
- Flexible working hours and unlimited paid vacation
- Relocation support available for those joining onsite
Work Model
