About the Role
The engineer will contribute to building and maintaining a secure, scalable SaaS platform that manages identity, access, and device infrastructure. Work includes backend development, system integration, and improving platform resilience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services for identity and device management systems
- Design scalable APIs to support cross-platform functionality
- Collaborate with product and security teams to define technical requirements
- Implement secure authentication and authorization workflows
- Optimize system performance and reliability under high load
- Write clean, testable code with comprehensive documentation
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner
- Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions
- Integrate with third-party services and identity providers
- Support the deployment and monitoring of cloud infrastructure
- Enhance data models for device and user state tracking
- Ensure compliance with security and privacy standards
- Contribute to incident response and post-mortem analysis
- Improve observability through logging and metrics
- Work with containerized environments and orchestration tools
- Develop automation for testing and deployment pipelines
- Maintain backward compatibility during feature updates
- Refactor legacy components for improved maintainability
- Support platform scalability across global regions
- Collaborate on feature prioritization with engineering leads
- Stay current with emerging technologies in identity and access management
- Participate in agile development cycles with iterative delivery
- Ensure code quality through unit and integration testing
- Contribute to internal developer tooling and documentation
- Support cross-team initiatives involving platform interoperability
