The engineer will design, implement, and maintain core runtime components that ensure efficient execution of AI workloads across diverse environments.
Responsibilities
- Design and build low-level runtime infrastructure for AI-driven applications
- Optimize performance and reliability of execution environments
- Collaborate with research and product teams to integrate new capabilities
- Diagnose and resolve complex system-level issues
- Ensure runtime compatibility across multiple hardware platforms
- Develop tools for monitoring and debugging runtime behavior
- Contribute to architectural decisions for scalable systems
- Maintain documentation for runtime components and APIs
- Implement security measures within execution environments
- Support deployment and scaling of runtime services
- Work closely with testing teams to ensure system stability
- Improve startup time and memory efficiency
- Refactor legacy code to meet evolving performance standards
- Participate in code reviews and technical planning sessions
- Stay current with advancements in runtime technologies
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in computer science or engineering
- Contributions to open-source runtime projects
- Experience with JIT compilation or interpreters
