EX Squared is hiring a Software Engineer (Remote - India)

Jobgether is looking for a Software Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance software products. In this remote role based in India, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance existing systems, build new components, and deliver scalable, efficient solutions.

What You'll Do

• Design component-level architecture and contribute to overall system design.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance software applications and components.
• Write unit tests, integration tests, and ensure code quality and performance.
• Support ongoing programs and troubleshoot issues in production systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and improvements.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and continuous integration practices.

What We're Looking For

• BA/BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience coding in Java, including participation in full development cycles.
• Strong knowledge of Java 17 and familiarity with design patterns.
• Experience with Spring Framework and multi-threaded programming.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile development practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of distributed systems, high-performance, and scalable applications.
• Experience with RDBMS, JMS, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, Kafka, and cloud platforms like AWS.
