Handshake is seeking experienced Software Engineers for flexible, hourly contract work focused on AI research. In this remote role, you will use your development expertise to evaluate AI-generated outputs and help refine AI capabilities for technical tasks.

What You'll Do

Design job-related coding questions.
Review AI-generated responses for correctness, efficiency, clarity, and adherence to real-world engineering practices.
Provide structured feedback to help improve AI's understanding of programming tasks and best practices.

What We're Looking For

4+ years of professional software engineering experience (internships excluded).
Strong hands-on coding experience in at least one major programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, Go).
Experience writing, reviewing, and debugging production-level code.
Comfortable working independently and following detailed technical guidelines.
Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
