Okta is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Privileged Access Management (PAM) team. In this role, you will be instrumental in evolving our core architecture and building scalable, composable components that define the product's foundational building blocks.

What You'll Do

Evolve the core architecture of the PAM platform.
Build scalable, composable components within product development teams.
Design and implement scalable architecture patterns.
Deliver a world-class user experience using a React-based design system.
Design and build APIs that customers rely on for accessing production infrastructure.
Develop backend components in Go and frontend components in React.

What We're Looking For

3-5 years of software development experience with a background in Golang (GO) or similar languages.
Proficiency in React or similar front-end UI stacks.
Experience working with relational databases like PostgreSQL or similar RDBMS.
Ability to complete a feature end-to-end, from database models to backend APIs and frontend UI.
Experience working with any cloud provider such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment built on end-to-end ownership.
A passion for thinking about distributed systems and their reliability, availability, and performance implications.
Ability to think in terms of systems, services, and APIs.

Compensation range: $136,000—$187,000 CAD + equity
