We are seeking an experienced .NET Backend Developer to work on 'full acquiring' projects for our client. This role involves developing systems that cover all stages necessary for the operation of an acquiring service, from payment processing infrastructure to customer interfaces and risk management solutions. You will collaborate with product, QA, and infrastructure teams to deliver robust, secure, and scalable solutions aligned with regulatory and business requirements.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain back-end services in .NET (Core and/or Framework), focusing on high performance, scalability, and security
- Implement integrations with acquirer APIs, payment gateways, card brands, and processors
- Build financial reconciliation and transaction reconciliation modules, both front end (capture and processing) and back end (settlement and clearing)
- Ensure data integrity and transaction consistency throughout the acquiring flow
- Collaborate with product, QA, and infrastructure teams to deliver robust solutions aligned with regulatory and business requirements
- Participate in code reviews, architecture definition, and development best practices
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields
- 5+ years of back-end development experience with C# and .NET Core or .NET Framework
- Experience with Design Patterns
- Experience with agile methodologies
- Experience with Serverless architecture
- Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, Amazon SQS, Amazon SNS, RabbitMQ)
- Knowledge of Microservices architecture
- Knowledge of REST APIs and version control tools (Git)
- Cloud knowledge (preferably AWS)
- Experience with NoSQL and/or SQL databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker and/or Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience in payment methods: Understanding of payment system operations, including authorization, capture, settlement, and reconciliation processes
- Experience in acquiring: Familiarity with card transaction flows, from transaction capture at the merchant to settlement with the issuing bank
- Experience with complex projects: Proven track record managing and developing complex systems with high demand and security requirements
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of payment industry-specific regulations such as PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard)
