At Motive, you will build products that modernize compliance, fleet, and driver management solutions for Enterprise customers. As a Software Engineer (L4), you will work with a passionate team designing scalable infrastructure, APIs, and services that impact the trucking industry.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to design, document, and deliver scalable solutions.
- Write secure, maintainable code that powers the platform connecting the world’s trucks.
- Launch and support features used by the trucking industry at scale.
- Build appropriate monitoring, logging, and debugging for system health.
- Provide on-call support for services deployed in production.
- Mentor and learn from developers within the engineering organisation.
What We're Looking For
- A degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years software development experience.
- Experience building product infrastructure, distributed systems and data models.
- Experience in Ruby on Rails, Go Lang, Java, Javascript/Node.js or a similar language.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redis, and Cassandra.
- Experience building for Cloud Infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, Azure or private clouds.
