Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain mobile agents, backend systems, and frontend utilities.
- Work on integrating mobile applications and frameworks into central infrastructure.
- Interact with mobile operating system APIs and communication protocols to manage connections with physical devices.
- Carry out technical work to modify device behavior for shared, time-based usage environments.
- Engage in all stages of the software lifecycle, from coding to automated testing.
- Investigate and fix issues specific to individual devices to ensure consistent device fleet availability.
- Optimize processes for assigning and releasing devices to enhance system efficiency.
- Promote system reliability through code reviews and active participation in architectural discussions.
- Track and analyze performance metrics to guide team decisions and improvements.
- Maintain operational standards by managing personal code in CI/CD systems and adhering to best practices.
- Produce reliable, thoroughly tested, and maintainable code.
Requirements
- Strong skills in Java or Kotlin, with Golang knowledge considered beneficial.
- Solid debugging ability and structured problem-solving techniques.
- Experience working in Linux or Unix environments.
- Basic understanding of mobile application development on Android or iOS platforms.
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of Android system internals, including AOSP, adb, or mobile device management.
- Familiarity with Objective-C or Swift programming languages.
- Hands-on exposure to containerization tools like Docker or orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Basic understanding of infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
