Heidi Health is looking for a Software Engineer (Fullstack) to create AI-powered solutions that transform clinical conversations into structured medical documentation. You'll work closely with the Engineering Manager for Transcription and Note Generation and the broader team in a dynamic, collaborative, flat-structured environment.
What You'll Do
- Build delightful scribe experiences for clinical conversations, helping clinicians focus on their patients.
- Collaborate with our AI/ML team to implement medical speech transcription and note generation capabilities.
- Work with APIs and services that power our transcription and note generation features.
- Contribute to systems that ensure accuracy and reliability in medical documentation generation.
- Help with performance improvements to enhance user experience in clinical settings.
- Learn about Heidi's overall architecture and adopt practices for creating reliable and maintainable systems.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong skills in React and Typescript
- Experience working with APIs, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure
- A growth mindset—eager to learn about reliability and performance
Nice to Have
- Experience working with, or theoretical knowledge of systems that integrate with ML/AI models
- Interest in healthcare
- Willingness to learn medical terminology
- Curiosity about speech-to-text systems
