About the Role
The frontend engineer will design and implement user-facing features, focusing on performance, scalability, and usability while working closely with product, design, and backend teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop responsive and accessible user interfaces using modern frontend frameworks
- Optimize frontend performance and ensure fast load times across devices
- Collaborate with designers to implement visual designs and interactive elements
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency
- Debug and resolve frontend issues across multiple browsers and platforms
- Work closely with backend engineers to integrate APIs and services
- Implement state management for complex frontend applications
- Contribute to component library and design system development
- Ensure applications meet accessibility and usability standards
- Stay current with emerging frontend technologies and industry trends
- Support continuous integration and deployment workflows
- Write unit and integration tests for frontend code
- Improve developer tooling and frontend development workflows
- Document code and technical decisions for team reference
- Assist in defining frontend architecture for new features
- Monitor application performance and user experience metrics
- Participate in agile planning and sprint execution
- Collaborate with product managers to refine feature requirements
- Translate user feedback into technical improvements
- Conduct frontend usability testing when needed
- Support deployment and monitoring of production applications
- Help onboard new team members to frontend systems
- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing
- Ensure frontend code aligns with security best practices
