Responsibilities
- Collaborate with your team to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain features for card issuance, transaction processing, and disputes.
- Produce high-quality, thoroughly tested code and actively engage in design and code reviews.
- Create and implement systems within microservice and event-driven architectures, ensuring the reliability and accuracy required for financial transactions.
- Take operational ownership of tier-0 financial systems, including on-call duties, incident response, and postmortems.
- Demonstrate AI proficiency by using AI-powered tools throughout the development lifecycle to enhance speed and quality, while exercising good judgment in their application.
- Uphold high engineering standards for your teammates and yourself.
- Learn from and support other engineers through code reviews and technical discussions.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software development experience or equivalent.
- Experience building and maintaining production software systems, and delivering well-defined projects or features from design through operation with guidance from senior engineers.
- A drive to identify flaws in complex systems and take necessary steps to resolve them.
- A growth mindset and enthusiasm for solving open-ended and ambiguous problems.
- Demonstrated AI fluency, including experience with AI-powered developer tools and the ability to critically evaluate and responsibly apply their outputs.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- A Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
