Northrop Grumman is hiring a Software Engineer - DevOps & Cloud Infrastructure to modernize software product production through DevSecOps. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, architecture, development, deployment, and operation of a modern DevSecOps software factory within an Agile, multi-disciplinary team environment.
What You'll Do
- Stand up a large-scale software factory used by software development teams.
- Implement segments of the DevSecOps lifecycle, including continuous build, continuous integration, continuous test, continuous cyber, and continuous deployment pipelines.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline and 2 years of software engineering experience, OR a Master’s degree in STEM and 0 years, OR a PhD in STEM and 0 years.
- Experience with at least one object-oriented programming language (Java, JavaScript, C++, C#, Python, or Swift) and the software development lifecycle.
- Experience with one of the following change management tracking systems: Jira, ClearQuest, or Asana.
- Experience with one of the following configuration management systems: GIT, GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket, or Subversion.
- An active DoD Secret level clearance (in-scope), with the ability to obtain (and maintain) special program access (PAR) prior to commencement of employment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud technology (AWS, VMWare, Azure, Kubernetes).
- Experience developing software using Agile processes (Kanban, Scrum, Scrumban).
- Knowledge of software metrics.
- Experience configuring virtual machines (VMs) and virtual networks (VPC, NSX-T, NSX-V).
- Experience with static and dynamic code analysis.
- Experience operating cyber remediation and the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
- Certification from VMWare, AWS, or Cisco.
- An active Secret DoD Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance.
- A current Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.

- Salary range: $75,100.00 - $137,600.00.
