About the Role
The Core Platform team is responsible for building and maintaining the foundational software that powers the company's products. This role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing core systems to ensure they are scalable, reliable, and performant.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, reliable, and performant software solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Maintain and improve existing systems to ensure high availability and performance.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Work closely with product managers to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Ensure the security and compliance of the software systems.
- Document technical designs and system architectures.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends.
- Contribute to the development of best practices and standards within the team.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure system availability and reliability.
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of software systems.
- Implement monitoring and alerting systems to ensure system health.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of software.
- Participate in the planning and execution of software releases.
