Jobgether is looking for a Software Engineer - Android to join our remote team. In this role, you will design and develop innovative features for a leading sports and gaming platform, building intuitive, high-performance experiences for millions of users while collaborating with a passionate, product-focused team.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain clean, high-performing Android features that enhance the user experience across fantasy and sports betting platforms.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver seamless, engaging mobile experiences.
- Participate actively throughout the product lifecycle while ensuring technical excellence and performance.
- Advocate for Android best practices and contribute to improving the team’s development standards and workflows.
- Take ownership of technical decisions and contribute to scalable architecture that supports high user traffic and low latency.
- Learn from and collaborate with talented peers in a supportive, fast-paced environment.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience as a software engineer.
- At least 1 year of professional Android development experience.
- Proficiency with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Android Studio, MVVM architecture, and Espresso for testing.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Product-oriented mindset with attention to detail and user experience.
Nice to Have
- Experience with fantasy sports or sports betting products.
- Exposure to DataDog or Amplitude.
- Experience building scalable systems for high-traffic environments.
- Experience working in a fast-paced growth environment.

- Compensation: $135,000 and $165,000 + equity.
