EX Squared is looking for a Software Engineer, Android to join our team and contribute to mobile application development. This role is based in Brazil and offers a fully remote work mode.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain high-quality Android applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Ensure code quality through unit tests, integration tests, and code reviews
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to improve application performance
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience developing Android applications with Kotlin and Java
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different Android versions, and how to deal with different screen sizes
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
- Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
