EX Squared is looking for a Software Engineer, Android to join our team. You will be responsible for developing robust and user-friendly applications for Android platforms, contributing to the full software development lifecycle. This role involves remote work from anywhere in Norway.

What You'll Do

Design, build, and maintain advanced applications for the Android platform
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to improve application performance
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

What We're Looking For

Proven software development experience in Android application development
Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different Android versions, and how to deal with different screen sizes
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
