Reveleer is hiring a Software Engineer to join our team developing Medicare Advantage management applications. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain web-based applications and high-performance distributed systems that are central to our platform.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop and maintain web-based applications to enhance performance and reliability
- Participate in building new industry-leading products using technologies like Spring, Hibernate, MS SQL, and RabbitMQ
- Develop high-performance distributed systems with Java and open-source technologies
- Work with analysts, team members, and stakeholders to understand and document software requirements
- Ensure applications are developed according to specifications
- Troubleshoot problems and implement repairs rapidly
What We're Looking For
- 2-5 years of Core Java and J2EE/Enterprise Development expertise
- Strong object-oriented coding practices including UML and Design Patterns
- Experience with Spring Batch and Spring MVC
- Proficiency with MS SQL Server using JDBC/Hibernate
- Background in high-volume transaction systems and batch processing
- Experience with Web Services (SOAP/RESTful)
- Familiarity with Eclipse, Junit, Ant, and SVN
- Knowledge of HTML, XML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Full Software Development Life Cycle experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or similar field
- Minimum two years of full-time software development experience
- Industry experience in large data warehouse implementations or similar work in healthcare, financial, claims, ERP, manufacturing, or other transaction-intensive systems
- Ability to adapt to changing direction in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work with diverse personalities and skill levels in a matrixed environment

- Master's Degree
- Experience with Message Queues: JMS, AMQP, RabbitMQ
- Enterprise Architect experience
- AJAX, JSON, and jQuery knowledge
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration systems like Jenkins or Hudson
- Healthcare domain knowledge
