As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll play a key role in shaping the architecture and performance of our IT operations platform. Your work will focus on building resilient, scalable systems that support enterprise customers, using Java and Kotlin to deliver clean, maintainable code in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement robust, high-availability software solutions that meet enterprise demands
- Write efficient, testable code with quality embedded at every stage
- Collaborate with engineering teams to uphold strong technical standards and best practices
- Solve complex scaling challenges in distributed systems
- Contribute to both client and server-side development with an emphasis on responsive, reliable communication
- Apply object-oriented design principles and proven patterns to real-world software problems
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience
- At least a decade of hands-on Java development in product-focused environments
- Proven experience building and maintaining highly scalable systems
- Deep understanding of OOP concepts, API design, and RESTful services using frameworks such as Jersey or Spring
- Strong background in relational database design and optimization
- Extensive experience with quality assurance and testing methodologies
- Familiarity with data structure scaling and performance tuning
Nice to Have
- Proficiency in Kotlin
- Experience with Redis or similar caching technologies
Technology Environment
Our stack includes Java, Kotlin, C++, Postgres, AWS, Spring, Jersey, and Redis. You’ll work in a hybrid environment with flexible remote options across eligible U.S. states, and office presence available in Austin, TX and Tampa, FL.
Compensation & Benefits
For positions based in California, Colorado, New Jersey, Washington, and New York, the base salary range is $140,000 to $200,000 annually. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) plan, unlimited paid time off, and ongoing training and support.
