Sephora is looking for a Software Engineer to join our Sales Engine squad, a key team within Sephora Digital’s Technology organization. In this role, you will be a principal contributor to the end-to-end development and delivery of features for the cart, checkout, and payments systems across South East Asia & Oceania.
What You'll Do
- Take accountability for features, driving their development from conceptualization through design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Actively engage in design and architectural deliberations for new features and system enhancements.
- Uphold stringent code quality through comprehensive test cases and meticulous code reviews.
- Operate proficiently within an Agile/Scrum methodology, contributing to all sprint ceremonies.
- Deliver prompt support for issues in production, including investigation and resolution.
- Adhere to all established team processes, coding standards, and management directives.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 3+ years of strong, hands-on experience in Spring Boot development.
- Strong understanding and practical application of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
- Hands-on experience with Microservices, designing and implementing REST APIs, architectural patterns, performance optimization, and working with JSON.
- Familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
Nice to Have
- Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Commercetools.
- Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
