Stryker Corporation is seeking a Software Development Intern for its R&D team focused on advanced navigation software for orthopaedic surgery. You will be hands-on in developing software solutions for computer-assisted surgery that directly impact patient outcomes.

What You'll Do

Take an active, hands-on role in developing software features and solutions that impact patient outcomes.
Engage in complex problem-solving, systematically identify challenges, and brainstorm innovative solutions.
Design, develop, and implement software components using C++ and Qt on a Linux platform.
Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of software engineers, biomedical specialists, and domain experts.
Evaluate the performance of developed algorithms using appropriate metrics.
Document and present findings, designs, and results.

What We're Looking For

Currently enrolled in a master's program in computer science, biomedical engineering, or a related field.
Experience in object-oriented programming (e.g., C++, Java) and a strong interest in developing high-performance software.
Demonstrate a strong interest in medical technology and healthcare software.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Good communication and documentation skills in English.

Nice to Have

Background in computer vision, image processing, and/or machine learning.
Familiarity with medical imaging (CT, MRI) and segmentation techniques.
