Axur is looking for a Software Development Intern to join our mission of making the internet safer. In this remote role, you’ll contribute to new features, improvements, and bug fixes while gaining hands-on experience in an autonomous, purpose-driven environment. You’ll work on real backend or frontend projects, collaborating with our engineering team.

Engage in software development including bug investigation, requirement analysis, feature enhancement, and new component development.
Collaborate with team members to ensure code quality through reviews and adherence to standards.
Implement changes in databases and cloud infrastructure to support development initiatives.
Embrace learning opportunities to enhance skills and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.

What We're Looking For

Currently enrolled in a Brazilian bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Knowledge of Java or JavaScript programming languages.
Familiarity with object-oriented programming principles.
Availability to work during office hours for at least half of the daily working hours.
Fluent in Portuguese, as team communication is predominantly in this language.
Advanced English proficiency in reading and writing.

Nice to Have

Experience or knowledge with concepts like microservices, continuous delivery, infrastructure as code, test-driven development, or domain-driven design.
Experience or knowledge of relational databases.
Spanish proficiency.
Expected graduation completion in 2027 or 2028.
