Dexcom Corporation is hiring a Software Development Engineer - iOS to develop applications for our continuous glucose monitoring ecosystem. In this senior role, you will be crucial in building iOS apps and solutions to meet the needs of an expanding global user base and partner network.
What You'll Do
- Design and build applications for the iOS platform.
- Implement requirements on iOS apps, write and update design documents.
- Continuously discover, evaluate and implement new technologies to strengthen development efficiency.
- Interface with software test to ensure high quality product.
- Develop automated unit and integration tests.
- Participate in design, code and test reviews, provide technical leadership.
- Propose and implement enhancements to the apps to improve sustainability.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and a minimum of 5-8 years related experience or a Master’s degree and 2-5 years equivalent industry experience or a PhD and 0-2 years of experience.
- Native iOS app development experience using Swift and SwiftUI.
- Professional software development experience.
- High degree of diligence in documentation, testing and coding.
- Experience working in Agile teams & using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Experience using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, Github Actions.
- Experience with version control tools such as Git, Github, Gitlab, Bitbucket and GitFlow.
- Experience writing automated tests using XCTest, XCUITest.
- Working knowledge of design patterns such as MVC, MVVM, MVP.
