EY is looking for an Application Engineer-III to provide intermediate-level technical support for small to mid-size cloud-based projects. This role identifies and resolves hardware or software issues spanning multiple technology domains while mentoring technical teams to ensure seamless operations.
What You'll Do
- Provide senior-level system analysis, design, development, and implementation of applications and databases, integrating third-party products.
- Translate technical specifications into code for complex new or enhancement projects, writing programs, developing code, testing artifacts, and producing reports.
- Elevate code into development, test, and production environments on schedule, and provide follow-up production support, including submitting change control requests.
- Train and mentor staff with less experience and resolve elevated technical issues.
- Participate in design, code, and test inspections throughout the project life cycle to identify issues.
- Interface with cross-functional team members and communicate systems issues at the appropriate technical level for each audience.
- Thoroughly understand and comply with Information Technology and Information Security policies and procedures.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, system integration, database design, and back-end architecture.
- A Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Computer Science or a relevant field, or a Master’s degree/Diploma in Computer Science.
- Primary expertise as an iOS engineer with Swift 5.9 as the primary language.
- Proficiency with UI frameworks: SwiftUI, UIKit, and modern concurrency/architecture.
- Knowledge of Agile, Confluence, and JIRA, with an aptitude for continuous process improvement.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have
- Language expertise in Objective C for managing legacy components.
- Experience with React Native.
