Arbor Education is looking for a Software Developer to join our SAMpeople product team. SAMpeople is a cloud-based platform transforming school people management. In this role, you'll contribute to a customer-facing SaaS system, working collaboratively within an Agile development team.
What You'll Do
- Contribute to the design, architecture, and implementation decisions for our platform.
- Analyze existing programs and make modifications and improvements.
- Implement new software solutions, websites, programs, and applications.
- Write and implement clean, scalable code.
- Participate in Agile sprint ceremonies, including Product Backlog refinement, Sprint Planning, and Sprint Reviews/Retrospectives.
- Troubleshoot, debug, verify, and deploy software solutions.
- Recommend and implement improvements to our systems and processes.
What We're Looking For
- A strong aptitude for programming and problem solving.
- Commercial experience working on customer-facing SaaS systems.
- Solid experience with C#, ASP.Net, and WebApi2.
- A background of working with SQL and Entity Framework.
- Proven experience working within an Agile environment.
- The ability to be a good team player and support colleagues through mentoring or coaching.
- Ability to manage yourself and align effectively with team goals.
Nice to Have
- Some JavaScript / jQuery experience.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps or Azure Hosting.

- Compensation: £50,000 - £60,000
