Boeing Australia is looking for a Software Developer (Associate, Experienced, or Senior) to join the Bixby Software team supporting classified programs for the Experimental Systems Group (ESG). You will develop, maintain, and enhance software products using modern technologies and Agile methodologies.
What You'll Do
- Review, analyze, and translate customer requirements into initial software designs.
- Develop, maintain, enhance, and optimize software products and system integrations.
- Develop and document architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs.
- Debug and resolve issues to ensure product reliability and efficiency.
- Handle user inquiries, troubleshoot technical issues, and analyze feedback.
- Implement current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and regulatory changes.
- Develop, establish, monitor, and improve software processes, tools, and metrics.
- Execute and document software research and development projects.
- Advise on software domains, system-specific issues, processes, and regulations.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain non-embedded software throughout the end-to-end lifecycle.
What We're Looking For
- 1+ years of development experience using ReactJS.
- 2+ years of development experience using Java.
- 2+ years of experience working under a Linux/Unix environment.
- 2+ years of experience in Java and associated frameworks/tools such as Spring Boot, WildFly, JPA, Maven.
- 2+ years of experience using Agile methodologies.
- Experience with application DevOps tools, such as GitLab (CI/CD), Git Bash, Gradle, Maven, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
- Active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).
Nice to Have
- 3 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- 5+ years of experience in Java, React, C++.

- 5+ years of experience in Windows based IDEs, Linux based IDEs, Maven, Git, Gitlab.
- 2+ years of experience in AWS environments.
- 2+ years of experience using Agile methodologies and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, BitBucket).
- Knowledge of specification format requirements, guidelines, and change control processes.
- Understanding of relationships between specifications and standards.
- Knowledge of software programming languages, databases, and their application.
- Ability to derive and allocate requirements and show traceability throughout the product lifecycle.
- Knowledge of software architecture and design methodologies.
- Ability to synthesize software architectures and designs that meet requirements, characteristics, and constraints.
- Knowledge of software development processes compliant with internal and industry standards.
- Knowledge of general and software-specific development and testing tools.
- Knowledge of domains, characteristics, constraints, and products that influence software architecture, requirements, and design.
- Knowledge of implementation, validation, and verification processes to ensure software quality, performance, and safety.

- Compensation Range: Associate Level (Level 2): $106,250 - $143,750; Experienced Level (Level 3): $135,150 - $182,850; Senior Level (Level 4): $171,700 - $232,300
