Keeper Security, Inc. is looking for a Software Automation Engineer specializing in Browser Extension development to ensure the quality and seamless functionality of our web applications. You will build and execute automated test scripts using the Playwright framework, collaborating closely with engineering and product teams.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute automated test scripts using the Playwright framework.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement test automation strategies.
- Maintain and enhance existing automated test suites to align with application updates.
- Identify, record, and track software defects, verifying fixes through re-testing.
- Perform end-to-end testing for various web applications to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Analyze test results, generate reports, and provide feedback to the team.
- Integrate manual test paths using API scripts into software UI for process automation.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in test automation.
- Work with other software engineers to optimize automation development and functionality.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of programming experience with JavaScript, Python, and Robot.JS.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on code design, quality, and architecture.
- Experience creating and managing end-to-end automated test cases using tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
- Working knowledge of software development methodologies and tools, including automated build systems, version control, project control, and issue tracking systems.
- Experience with Cross Browser Testing on Chrome, Firefox, and Safari.
- Familiarity with relational databases like SQL Server and MySQL.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Browser Extension development.
- Experience with other testing frameworks or tools such as Cypress or Jest.
