Cognizant seeks a Senior Software Architect to design, develop, and optimize high-performance software solutions. You will use your expertise in SQL, Perl, Core Java, and PHP to build scalable and reliable applications while collaborating with cross-functional partners.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop high-quality software solutions leveraging SQL, Perl, Core Java, and PHP to meet business and technical requirements.
- Analyze, optimize, and enhance existing systems to improve performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless application and system integration.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers to support continuous learning and collaboration.
- Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and code reviews to ensure quality and consistency across deliverables.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in software development and architecture, with a strong record of delivering successful projects.
- Proficiency in SQL, Perl, Core Java, and PHP.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand and work through complex systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Experience mentoring and guiding junior developers.

- Demonstrated ability to optimize large-scale applications for performance and reliability.
- Experience driving process improvement initiatives or introducing modern development practices.
